“There is always something to learn with Seadrill.”
Can you describe the Seadrill culture?
‘Unified in diversity’ – that’s how I’d describe the culture in Seadrill. Here, different people from all over the world work together to set the standard in drilling. At Seadrill there’s always someone ready to assist, and someone with the technical know-how. The wealth of experience and expertise from colleagues is always at your disposal.
What kind of opportunities are there for progression?
Progression is always possible here. For example, my career journey has developed from Operations Engineer Trainee to Project Engineer, Rig Leader Trainee and then Technical Leader Trainee, and now I’m working as Marketing Analyst.
What other types of support do you get?
We support each other across our teams and departments to get the work done, and I have the support of my line managers to grow within the company.
What would you say to someone thinking about a career with Seadrill?
Seadrill offers the most professional environment to work in, with some of the most advanced technology on board our units. With the ever challenging and changing phases of the market, Seadrill is setting the standard in drilling.
